Definition
The GRB supports Jamati institutions in developing and improving processes and frameworks for the monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment of programmes. GRB can work with individual boards and portfolios to design programme-specific templates that will help the institutions monitor programming initiatives on an ongoing basis, ensuring that long-term goals and objectives can be met.
Toolkit
The GRB is developing a toolkit to assist the Institutions in conducting evaluations of various programmes. The toolkit will contatin:
- A simple step by step document on “Elements of Planning a Program”
- Introduction to “Evaluation and the Core Components”
- Evaluation tools – questionnaires, interviews, focus groups to use in evaluating programs
- A logistics worksheet to help with the planning phase (See Appendix)
- An interpretation of findings worksheet for collation of the results, findings and conclusions of the evaluation all one on sheet. (See Appendix)
